Webtext

Questions that I would like to ask in my conference:
Is my podcast too long? Is it easy to understand?
Is my topic about organic food easy to understand? Are there things that I need to clarify? What is not clear in my webtext?

• Summarize and respond to at least three of the four texts in your bibliography. How will you use each of these in your webtext? Do you need to find other sources to help you fully answer your questions? What information will you look for? Where do you expect to find it?

I am confused on the last 2 blog prompts... Once, I get Crystal's email about what this means I will update my blog on the second part. But I would probably find my information on the internet.

Podcast

For my podcast, I would like to do it on the myths of organic food. I think it would be interesting. Alot of people hear different things (sometimes bad) about organic food and I want to clear it up. I would discuss what is true and what is not. I would also like to use the article that Tom showed me about if you give a baby organic food it's like giving them 4 birth control pills.
Let me know what you guys think!! or if you have any suggestions!! =)

Review

The feedback that I got back for my first draft that I will use in the future is to make sure that my font, colors, and picture reflect with my topic. I chose the background color green to represent the colors in organic foods such as vegetables. I chose a big enough font so it is an easy-read. I rearranged my pictures that I have so far to go with the text at the time. I also need to make sure I am citing everything that I use. I also need to add some links.

Kaitlin reviewed my webtext in class. She wanted me to add the topic "why organic food is more expensive than conventional foods." In my draft 2 I did add that subtitle. She also wanted to know more about how organic food is exactly grown and what is done to it. I am going to take everything Kaitlin said in consideration and use it to update my webtext and to improve my webtext.

My Audience

My topic is organic foods. I think people that would be interested in this topic could be mothers that have young children and a younger crowd who likes to work out and keep up with their weight and stay balanced. My audience will be make up of around 100+ Americans. I would hope Americans can understand the English that I will use in my writing. I would think my audience does not know that much about organic foods, which is their reason for reading my article. My purpose for this article on organic foods is to inform/persuade. Hopefully after reading what I have to say about organic foods, my audience will realize that organic foods is really the best way to go. My tone will not be too serious but I want people to be interested. I will try to grab their attention and not bore them.

2 websites

After talking to some classmates, I have decided to go with the topic about organic foods. I will discuss why you should choose organic foods. Some points that I will cover will include: why organic food is different and how, the high prices of organic foods, and if organic food has pesticides. Below are just a few websites that I have found that could help me find further information.

1)http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/features/organic-food-better
